Trimark Advertising Exhibited @ Taglyan Complex Open House
Dec 8th
On November 19th 2009, Trimark Advertising had the honor of exhibiting at Taglyan Complex Open House. We joined dozens of local businesses to showcase our services and projects. Needless to say everyone was impressed with the newly constructed multi-million dollar Taglyan Complex and equally notable TaglyanComplex.com (built by Trimark Advertising).
One of the highlights of the evening was the food catered by Divine Catering, exclusive caterer for Taglyan Complex.
We met some great potential customers and exposed many others to some great complementary advice on their business marketing and advertising needs.
Keep an eye out for us at future events in the Los Angeles area.
What is the difference?
Dec 8th
We have customers keep asking us the same questions. “What is the difference between Registered Trademark, Service Mark and Copyright?”
So we have decided to post this article for those who are willing to learn more about it.
Trademark symbols protect your various product names, titles, logo design, brochure designs, custom web design and other graphic design elements that are used to identify your company as the source of a product. In this way, trademarks help your company to maintain a distinct identity in the marketplace.
Once you put a trademark on a product in the marketplace, it provides legal protection. However, they do not prevent other companies from producing the same products with a clearly different mark – you cannot trademark an idea but you can trademark the expression of an idea.
Although trademarks protect, they must also be protected by registering with the US Patent and Trademark Office. A Registered Trademark costs anywhere from $325 and up, and often takes a year and even up to several years to process, since there is more research involved in issuing it. Once registered, you can change the ™ to ®.
Companies must constantly monitor their trademarks so that they don’t slip into generic use; if they do, More >
Find your company image and keep it consistent
Dec 8th
Every company has a brand. But it’s important to remember to keep your brand consistent as long as your customers still view your brand in a positive light.
Notice the image to the left. While both of these brands create positive feelings about their brand in the minds of their loyal customers, only one brand has remained consistent – Coca-Cola.
The problem with changing you brand image is, not only sinking tons of money into the rebranding (to replace your company trucks, reformat your website, replace all of your stationary and business cards and even your email signatures), but that it alters the perception of the brand in the minds of your customers.
By keeping your brand and your branding message consistent through your marketing and advertising, you can strengthen your brand identity within your industry and in the minds of your customers.
In 2001, the US market share for the soft drink industry was: Coca-Cola – 43.7% Pepsi Co. – 31.4% Cadbury/Schweppes – 15.8%
